This is not an ordinary assembly job. Building our high-end X-ray sources includes several disciplines and over time you will be an expert handling the complexity of the system. To be successful in this role you need to be meticulous, structured and sometimes be able to work without detailed instructions.
With an increasing number of sources to build we are in a phase of scaling up manufacturing operations and you will, together with the team, be involved in finding ways to improve processes and new ways of working.
Most important tasks
• From complex drawings, mechanically assemble all parts of the system
• Deployment of the system
• Perform control and routine tests, e.g. vacuum leakage tests and radiation leakage tests
To be qualified for this job we think you have worked with advanced assembly or service of high-tech systems in a manufacturing operation, have basic knowledge in mechanics and electronics and is comfortable in running simple scripts in a control software system.
