In an agile and cross-functional environment you are greeted with a versatile System Architect role. YOUR CHALLENGE
As System Architect you will be responsible for the overall architecture of Vironova 's product development. Your main task will be to develop and own a technical roadmap in line with the product roadmap. The objective is to ensure a clear and coherent direction for Vironova 's products from a development perspective. This means that you will for example:
* Act as the connection point between development and product management.
* Decide on and motivate design choices.
* Lead the team to produce data and prototypes.
* Support the development organization in putting technical requirements into practice.
THE TEAM AND WORK PLACE
You will report to the Head of Development and be a part of the development team consisting of 16 people who are divided into three scrum teams. The team has contact points all over the organization and you will work cross-functionally, with for example Product Management and Research and Innovation. Vironova is quickly growing with over 100 employees today. Vironova is located in beautiful Vasastan, Stockholm.
ABOUT YOU
As a person we believe you have strong communicative skills, an easy time connecting with other people and are able to develop relationships with different stakeholders. Further, you have the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
To succeed in the role as System Architect you need to have extensive experience in making big design choices and motivating them. In this role you will work within the area Life Science so it 's valuable if you have previous experience with distributed systems with software and hardware and are used to secure handling of big amounts of data.
A Master 's degree or higher level of education in computer science or similar is also beneficial. You have good experience of working as a technical architect, where you have encountered and worked with agile software development. The current technical environment at Vironova is based on C# and .Net, with SQL-server as DB backend and WPF as frontend. JIRA is used for planning and GitHub for review and integration.
The international nature of Vironova requires you to have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
