We are looking for a System Architect to two highly important systems, SUP (Supplier portal) and GAM (Generic access management) within the IT division Buying & Production (BOPO) at H&M. SUP (Supplier portal) is the H&M portal for collaboration with our suppliers worldwide. GAM (Generic access management) is an application for handling user rights for all systems within the BOPO division. Both systems are .Net web based and are being continuously developed.
As a system architect you will have a key role in the team from understanding and outlining the business requirements, providing the roadmap and direction for design of the solution and securing the long term quality of implementation.
The role involves continuous discussions with the requirements analysts and business to solve any issues with the aim of transforming requirements to sustainable architecture and system. You will also work closely with the implementation team from our vendor. We work agile in short iterations, which places high demands on personal motivation, cooperation and teamwork.
As System Architect you take the responsibility for the overall technical solution and assist the delivery team wherever you are needed. You are a natural in collaboration and building relationships with people in different roles such as business, developers, testers, requirement specialists, other architects and system responsible.

Your responsibilities
The job of a System Architect at H&M comes with a lot of responsibility - and lots of fun. Your to do-list includes:
• Together with system responsible and business analyst you are responsible for planning the team's deliverables
• Work close with business analyst and our business to secure requirements and turn them into a solution.
• Lead and support the delivery team in the technical analysis, design and development work.
• Responsible for the technical collaboration between your team (local and offshore) and other teams within H&M.
• Responsible for your team to follow and contribute to the agreed guidelines and way of working.
• Overall responsible for the technical quality of the delivery.
• Responsible for technical documentation
• Approve suggested time estimation of proposed solutions.
• Responsible for the implemented technical solution.

• At least 3 years' experience as architect working within a development team
• Leaderships skills
• System design and modelling
• Good communication skills
• Experience from working with integrations and complex systems in large organizations
• Solid experience in systems development and web development in Microsoft environment: .Net/C#

Experience of working with offshore teams is beneficial.
You will be located in Stockholm, with stakeholders and end users mostly across Asia and Europe. The delivery teams are based in Stockholm and in India. Business trips abroad may be required.
