Your future challenge
Your role as a System Architect for IP based network products will cover products and solutions that have demanding requirements on performance, robustness and security. You will be driving the creation of architectures that both solve the requirements of our customers and at the same time are reusable in new and future products.
Todays demands
You likely hold an M.Sc. and in addition to that several years of experience working with communication products. We are looking for candidates that have experience and knowledge in at least 3 of the below areas:
• Routing protocols for IPv4 and IPv6 including BGP and OSPF
• Network management using SNMP and NetConf
• Knowledge in network security e.g. IPSEC
• Knowledge about layer 2 routing and ad-hoc routing
• Knowledge in open source solutions related to the above mentioned areas
Place of action
Security and Defence Solutions, a business area of Saab, offers command and control systems, airborne early warning systems, civil security systems and solutions, training and simulation, as well as telecom carrier.
At the division for Communication Systems, we develop software based products and solutions for land-, naval- and airbased military communication systems. The department for communication development is located in Järfälla and Linköping. With Software Defined Radio (SDR) and Networking technologies as a base we do product development and research. Presently we are involved in several exciting projects with international stakeholders and are looking for skilled engineers and researchers to our sites in Linköping and Järfälla.
