What you'll do
In our Corporate Worklife area we support our Corporate Functions with digital deliveries. We're now searching for a System Architect to our Enable Assist product! Together with our users all over the globe, we define and set up the best contact center solutions. We're responsible for maintaining the releases we have, making sure we always aim for best possible customer experience.
This is fundamental for guaranteeing a great customer experience for Volvo Cars customers, for example Care by Volvo customers. Contact Center is also used internally at Volvo Cars by the Service Desk group to manage IT incidents, human resource requests, and more. This business-critical capability provides best-in-class customer service world-wide 24/7/365.
Our existing cloud-based Computer Telephony Integration solution is integrated with critical customer support platforms such as Salesforce and ServiceNow. This requires extensive collaboration with Volvo Cars stakeholders, such as digital product owners and product managers, and customer service agents and call center supervisors from the designated Volvo Cars supplier.
We're looking for a System Architect to manage the technical aspects, and this role will require management as well as stakeholder and supplier collaboration.
The role demands a solid understanding of the customer support process and the end-user experience from using the solution, both for users requesting support and users providing support. The system architect will have an integral part in defining requirements based on the understanding of the possibilities and opportunities provided by the technology and available solution APIs.
* Ensure that knowledge about the system developed in the scrum team is understood, maintainable, and documented
* Ensure that the system or solution in use or under development is fit for purpose
* Be the primary speaking partner to the Solution Architects
* Gather needs, requirements, and problems from business stakeholders, Solution Management, and customers to identify development needs and support in ensuring fitness for purpose and future
* Collaborate closely with teams, suppliers, and third-party stakeholders in defining the technology, create a detailed software design of the solution, decompose the systems into components and subsystems, and define and manage their interfaces and APIs
* Support in defining enablers to support the activities needed to align and extend the Architectural Runway to provide future business functionality
* Support Product Owner to define the roadmap and strategy of the product
* Continuously provide (business) value to the larger solutions/systems (via the Agile Release Train - ART)
* Actively participate in the SAFe-planning events and ceremonies
You'll operate from our office in Torslanda with the possibility to work from home 1-2 days a week.
What you'll bring
You're a great collaborator who enjoys working in a team, with experience from stakeholder management, project management, and Agile WoW. We also see that you can communicate in English without hindrance - both verbally and in writing.
* Bachelor's degree in IT or Engineering, or equivalent background
* Technical expertise from call center platforms, desirably cloud-based virtual call center solutions and their API usage
* Experience from integrating these platforms to Salesforce and ServiceNow
* Expertise in the call center channels, voice and mail - more channels to come
* Experience from utilizing AI in call center solutions
* Background in applications operations/support
* Familiar with troubleshooting
* Cloud-based Call Center Solutions i.e., Five9
* Understanding of IP Networks
* Basic understanding of VOIP
Experience from IT operations such as ITIL, as well as basic knowledge of Mobile Network operations and IT Security operations is desirable. Knowledge about Experience of BeyondTrust Remote Support/Privilege Remote Access and ServiceNow is also appreciated.
