What we offer

The ART (Agile Release train) Deceleration, part of the Solution Motion Control & Climate within Product and Quality at Volvo Car Group, is now looking for a committed and collaborative colleague. Deceleration ART is responsible for the delivery the brake system for all Volvo vehicles including hardware and software development and the customer experience of the braking attribute. We are a dedicated team working according to agile principles. Now we are now strengthening our System Architect team with an architect with special focus on brake software.

What you will do

As part of the Architect Team develop and update our product offer roadmap. With a holistic view ensure implementation of optimised brake system solutions including sub-system alignment and definition of interfaces. You will define and develop future brake systems and demands. This will include collaboration with customers and interfacing areas/Architects as well as participating in the ART Program Increment planning, system and solution demos. The work also includes defining and communicating system requirements and verification needs.

To conclude you will also:
* Work with solution architects in the development of the solution architecture and to analyse, split and realize the implementation of enabler epics
* Work with supporting the development teams with system knowledge and clarifying issues across sub-systems.

Do you fit the profile?

To succeed in this role you will need to be a self-motivated person who always strive to find ways to implement the best possible solution with a holistic view. You are a good communicator with capability of developing and maintaining networks. We also want you to have a Technical education on University level (Master of Science or similar) and knowledge from system engineering or software development. You are proficient in English, both spoken and written and have driver's licence.

Meritorious
* Theoretical and practical knowledge of brake system development
* If you have previous experience from an agile development, it is an advantage.
