We are now looking for a System Architect - Core Software
YOUR TEAM
An important part in the work towards our vision is to provide vehicles that are autonomous, shared and electrified and acts as part of a mobility system.
To achieve this both the amount and the complexity of the software will increase drastically in coming vehicle architectures. NEVS strategy is to develop a lot of this software in-house. For us, the Core Software is the software that manages all the functionality of the vehicle.
We are looking for experienced software architects that can define the Software Architecture vision and roadmap for our next generation vehicle systems. Your role will be to design and maintain a robust and adaptable software architecture that supports the functional and non-functional demands of the vehicles. Your focus will be on the system and software architecture on vehicle level, but you will also be supporting teams defining the software architecture and design for the subsystems.
You will be part of the Core SW ARTs management team together with the Product Manager and Release Train Engineer. In this role you will also be working closely with the development teams, Product Owners, other System Architects and Solution management.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Defining architectural vision and roadmap
- Supporting design and implementation work on more detailed abstraction layers
- Continuously ensuring the consistency of the software architecture on vehicle level
- Support the Product Manager with defining and prioritizing Enablers and Features for coming Program Increments
- Contribute to the Solution Architecture work
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of ways-of-working for related processes
WHO YOU ARE
- Deep competence of vehicle functionality and vehicle functional and electrical architecture
- Experience from system architecture of software intense functionality in the automotive industry
- Experience from SysML modeling, preferably in Enterprise Architect
- Experience from SystemWeaver and other requirements management systems
- Enjoys coaching and mentoring
- Great communication skills
- Accustomed to communicating clearly in English, both spoken and written
