About Us: Scania Credit is undergoing a digital transformation, and we're on the lookout for a System Analyst to join our Process & IT Department. As part of this department, you'll collaborate closely with the IT Manager and a dedicated team of professionals in Södertälje. Our team oversees IT, Support & Maintenance, project management, and The Scania Way/SRS work for the group. We work tirelessly to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and systems, both internally and externally.
Your Role: As a System Analyst, you'll play a crucial role in various aspects of our IT operations, including
Providing daily IT support for our employees across different markets.
Managing the server infrastructure hosted in our datacenters, ensuring its functionality, security, and performance.
Providing application support and maintenance, including databases, for core applications supporting our business processes.
Planning and testing disaster recovery scenarios, and proactively delivering recommendations for system improvements.
Handling user service requests, including user onboarding and offboarding, and participating in business and internal IT projects as a project member.
Developing and supporting reports and analysis from the business systems, using tools like SQL, Power BI, and Power Apps.
Understanding and documenting technical and business requirements, and preparing system environments.
Developing business intelligence solutions, and staying updated on the latest IT trends and best practices.
This role offers a blend of operational responsibilities and project-driven initiatives, providing you with ample opportunities for growth and development. You'll also have the autonomy and flexibility to manage your own work and schedule, with the support and guidance of your manager and colleagues.
To be successful in this role, you should have:
A university degree in computer science or a related field, and at least three years of relevant experience.
Proficiency in SQL, Windows server administration, Active Directory, virtualization platforms, and scripting languages.
Familiarity with the Power Platform, including Power BI and Power Apps.
Experience with on-prem or cloud storage systems such as Data lake / Data warehouse is desirable.
A proactive and motivated attitude, with strong organizational and communication skills.
A team player mindset, with the ability to thrive in an international and complex environment.
English in speaking and writing.
