Application Delivery has the mission to achieve a high level of efficiency within Volvo IT?s application delivery and to develop, maintain and support business application solution that meets customers? demands for functionality, quality, efficiency and time to market.
The EDI & Business Integration group manages the EDI & B2B Integration service to internal and external customers. The service consists of Maintenance, Support, Implementation and Business Analyst assignments for our customers. Our customers are Volvo Group, VCC and other external customers.
System analyst B2B and EDI
We are now looking for a skilled professional to extend our team.
The position includes maintenance activities as well as third level support for our global integration solutions. These solutions are based on standardised communications and communication formats between our customers and their partners. Our solution is currently running on two platforms with the aim to migrate to one during 2011. The position can include on call duties.
Main tasks
• Technical support of our operational and application environments
• Working proactively with our internal and external customers with the aim of improving quality.
• Maintenance and support for GEBIS and AMTrix environment
• Participate in activities to phase out the AMTrix system and migrate completely to the GEBIS system
• Provide 3rd level support to our customers and their partners
• Develop and enhance routines for operations
• Part of the On call team

Qualifications:
• Degree in computer or systems science from a university or equivalent knowledge
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Be flexible and open to new assignments and challenges
• Be interested in working in a global environment
• Be well organized and methodical
• Strong problem management skills
• Several years of experience of UNIX Server environment
• Be committed to working in accordance with our core values "Professionalism, Respect & Spirit"
It is an added merit if you also have:
• Experience of working with EDI-support processes
• Experience of EDI-Integrations, communications development and communications standards
• Experience of EDI solutions within the Automotive Industry
• Previous operational experience from Volvo and our support process
