Group 9533 Parts Services within AD department Delivery to Repurchase, in Gothenburg is looking for System Analyst / Application Developer for CMS (Core management system) and IBIS to take part in maintenance and operation as well as new development activities.
CMS handles the complete core handling process on a global basis for all business areas; all parties working together in the same tool but with different view of the information. CMS is a modern three-tiered application with Websphere as GUI on top of a business layer built up with services in mainframe and DB2 tables as data storage. There are several projects planned for the years to come and for the next year we will install CMS in Brazil for VCE and VTC.
Parts Services is a group within Application Delivery which has a global responsibility for maintenance, enhancement, new development and support of several business critical applications used by Volvo Parts such as Parts Online, CMS, Glopps, LISA, IBIS. Parts Services will also be responsible for the future maintenance of the SCM solution.
Main responsibilities:
• Responsible for planning and executing the requirements work
• Responsible for involving needed stakeholders into the process
• Responsible for customer contacts regarding tasks that concern system requirements
• Participate in calculation and planning of the system analysis activities
• Participate in estimation and planning of development, deployment and operation activities.
• Responsible for ensuring that the system requirements are aligned with the customer quality standards
• Authorized to propose changes which make the application more efficient and /or reduce operation or maintenance costs
This position requires:

• Fluent in Swedish and English, both orally and written
Qualifications and skills:
• Java
• HTML
• XML
• Proficient in the Struts programming technique
Recommended:
• Familiar with Websphere Application Server
• Experience from maintenance assignments
• Experience from working in a multi-site team
• Knowledge of mainframe and COBOL programing is an advantage
