hela Sverige Scania is currently undergoing an exciting transformation from a traditional truck manufacturer to a provider of complete sustainable transport solutions. IT is a crucial part of this transformation and Scania IT has embarked on a stimulating and challenging journey of change to contribute to the development of Scania's business.
The work environment at Scania's IT Department is international and our employees are representing many different nationalities and countries. To this exciting and dynamic environment we are now looking for new team members!
We are expanding considerably and have now two interesting and career boosting opportunities which might be just right for you!
System Analyst CAD/vPDM and Solution Architect CAD/vPDM for production
The role as System Analyst CAD/vPDM
Part of this change means that we adapt the CAD and PDM organisation to become the enabler we must be for Scania to achieve its long-term goals.
An increasing globalisation and harmonization of processes within our group puts many new requirements on our platform. That leads to many new interesting and challenging projects. You will be part of a cross functional team that develops the next generation of CAD/vPDM system at Scania and works closely with IT suppliers and Scania business.
What to expect
You will continue helping us replacing the current CAD/vPDM platform from CATIA/ ENOVIA with a more modern platform for CAD/vPDM. An increasing need of the SCANIA CAD/vPDM platform across the world with China is one example of that. That means challenging and exciting implementation of new sites across the world.
You will transform business requirements into realisable solutions, that means that you need to have a deep understanding of the functionality in CAD/PDM system and the architecture of it but also a good understanding of the business processes in order to be the link between business and IT.
Your skills
We are looking for candidates who have
• deep knowledge of CAD/PDM
• experience of product development processes from a position as Design Engineer and want to switch career to IT
• knowledge of transforming business requirements into realisable solutions
• a university education within IT or mechanical/vehicle engineering or equivalent experience
• great communications skills in both Swedish and English
You are solution-oriented, analytical and will naturally want to share your knowledge and experience with your colleagues. You have a good understanding of the systems development process and it's life cycle and have the ability to draw overall conclusions on how easy or difficult a particular requirement is to realise. Knowledge and experience of Scania's modular systems and familiarity with Dassault applications (CATIA/ENOVIA/3DExperience) would be especially advantageous.
