We are delivering global IT solutions in the areas of CRM, Retail, Customer Loyalty, Service & Repair and Parts Logistics. Our employees work in global teams with all the Volvo companies and take on challenging assignments in our deliveries covering the complete product life cycle including new development and projects.
Our group is working within the applications for Parts Logistic processes. We develop and maintain these global applications for our customers Volvo Car and the Volvo Group.
We see a growing demand for our services and have exciting challenges for the immediate future
Therefore we need to expand the team with a Systems Analyst / Application Technician for the Volvo Car Parts systems
This is a global order and warehousing system.
The central warehouse is located in Gothenburg and we also support warehouses in North America, Japan, Australia and all over Europe.
Our team is now working in a challenging project supporting Volvo Cars expansion in China
It's an advantage if you have some experience from this kind of system.
Your profile:
We are looking for skilled System Analyst for Mainframe development
As System Analyst you will plan, lead and coordinate the requirements work throughout a project or maintenance assignment by outlining and delimiting the system and system functionality being modelled.
The System Analyst ensures that important user needs are captured and agreed upon, by making them visible and explicit to all stakeholders. The System Analyst raises awareness on how features add value to the business to help prioritize deliveries.
You will be working in a maintenance or project team within a global organization with participants from many different parts of the world.
Qualifications and skills:
• You have documented experiences as System Analyst or as Application Technician with an expertise in COBOL, DL1 and/or DB2
• You have the power of initiative and driving force
• You have the ability to understand the customer?s business processes.
• Good knowledge of requirements management methods
• You are customer focused
• You are used to work in teams
General qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science plus other required training or experience required for the specific position
• Excellent communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• Communicative team-player
• You have considerable social competence and should be good at expanding and maintaining personal/business networks
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
