Det här är ett konsultuppdrag med goda möjligheter till överrekrytering. Pharmetheus, a consultancy company who mainly offers pharmacometric services, providing analyses through modelling and simulation in support of drug development decisions. The company has a mix of academic experts and experienced consultants and are world leading within their field. Tasks and responsibilities:
The Role
As a system administrator you will, together with your team, be responsible for the maintenance of servers, troubleshooting, installation and updates as well as high-performance computing cluster administration. Furthermore, you will be administrating laptops, virtual machines and virtual servers as well as being active in day-to-day maintenance as e.g. licensing and upgrades. The role also includes documentation of IT processes and procedures to comply with the regulatory environment that Pharmetheus are working in. You will also be involved in procurements.
You will be a part of the system administrator team which today consists of three other team members and the head of the department. You will be working in an open and flexible working environment where IT security is a prioritized matter.
Education, Experience and Personal characteristics:
Education and Experience
• At least finished high school education, relevant university degree is a merit
• Previous experience as a System Administrator or a similar role
• Experience of Linux servers
• Proficient in English, both verbally and in writing, Swedish is a merit
We are looking for a person with integrity, who is comfortable with taking responsibility of their own work. Since the position has broad responsibilities, we are looking for a humble person who can work with both large and small tasks and takes initiative to new ideas. The role will consist of many contact areas and you will be responsible for helping others - which is why you also need to be service-minded and be a good team-player.
