About the role
Is Linux your operating system of choice? Do you want to work with IT applications for automation, centralized logging and monitoring? Then this can be the role for you!
You will join an experienced virtual team of colleagues. Team members are situated in multiple locations across Europe and Asia; Malmö, Stockholm, Sliedrecht, Augsburg and Shanghai. Knowledge sharing and collaboration is done continuously between team members to improve our way of working and further develop individual competence levels.
Responsibilities include the operation and maintenance of server hardware, Linux operating systems and centralized logging applications at agreed service levels and according to our security standards. You will proactively make sure that performance levels (e.g. CPU/Memory/HDD) and availability requirements (e.g. Server processes/Network connectivity/Certificate validity/Application license limits) are met.
Daily tasks include planning, coordinating, implementing and documenting changes in both our internal environment and our customer environments. Incident remediation and root cause analysis are also important tasks that needs to be organized and prioritized effectively. You also participate in the continuous development of our service delivery by standardizing and automating recurring activities whenever possible.
Who you are
You are driven, self-propelled and work focused to achieve your set goals. You take initiative and see problem solving as an exciting challenge. In this role you come into contact with many different people, which requires good communication skills. You handle English fluently both spoken and written. The customer comes first, and you have a service minded way of working.
IT security is one of your personal interests and you keep up to date with what's happening in the industry. You have a Linux- or security foundation to build on with special interest in system administration.

It's a plus if you have one or more of the following certifications:
• Red Hat Certified System Administrator or equal knowledge level
• CompTIA Linux+ certified or equal knowledge level
• CompTIA Security+ certified or equal knowledge level
