As we build our MES Support and Maintenance organization, we're seeking a dedicated System Administrator to play a key role in ensuring the seamless operation of MES solutions, crucially supporting both business and end-user needs.

Your team
Manufacturing Execution System (MES) is a new area within Epiroc. With an exciting roadmap ahead, including new functionality and site rollouts, we are actively establishing the MES Support and Maintenance organization. As the System Administrator, you will be an integral part of a passionate team leading our MES solutions. Collaborating closely with team members and colleagues worldwide, you will help drive this journey of innovation and growth together. Your mission
As System Administrator, your overall mission is to provide a reliable and secure MES System that supports the organization's business processes and meets the needs of end-users. You will be responsible for the IT side of maintenance of MES application to fulfill the business requirements and ensure that the application performance meets user demands. You will be a part of the MES Solutions team and report to the MES Manager.

Some of the main tasks and responsibilities of this role include:
• Troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and proactive problem management.
• Collaborating with Epiroc IT for system maintenance and server administration.
• System monitoring, performance optimization, and preventive maintenance.
• Ensuring quality assurance and functional verifications for changes/maintenance.
• Planning system upgrades and deployments with minimal disruption.
• Execute testing after service windows and unexpected disruptions and test performance.
• Documenting instructions and updating system documentation.
• Initiating system improvements and participating in development projects.

Your profile
To excel in this role, you bring a University Degree covering areas such as IT System Administration, or equivalent knowledge developed through working experience. You should possess in-depth TrakSYS MES administration knowledge, including managing databases like Microsoft SQL Server or Oracle. Familiarity with scripting (PowerShell, Python) is important to automate routine administrative tasks. Good understanding of the organization's IT infrastructure is essential, as well as keeping up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends. Since you will be collaborating around the globe, you need to have verbal and written fluency in English.

As a person, you are goal orientated, collaborating with colleagues from various IT disciplines, and fostering a positive work environment. Your proactive and problem-solving abilities, along with your attention to details in system configurations, security measures, and documentation stand out. Given the collaborative nature of the role, your interpersonal finesse and communication skills are essential.

Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel will be needed.
