Your future team
You will be part of the team, IT Operations & Support and we are the owners of the Axis global infrastructure. Your colleagues in IT Operations & Support are responsible for the life cycle of the Infrastructure & Platforms which is consumed by Axis and Axis customers. We are approx. 35 technical skill co-workers that is managing and operating the latest and greatest technology. We hope you share the same passion as we do for technology and technology development. Together with the team you will deliver a highly available & reliable infrastructure.
What will you do here?
In the role as System Administrator - Kubernetes, you will manage and operate our Kubernetes platform together with your colleagues in the team. You will play a key role in designing and execute Operational processes and procedures related to the platform but equally important be part of designing the technical future for the Kubernetes platform.
As you will manage the full life cycle of the Kubernetes platform, you will manage incidents, requests and maintenance of the platform. You need to understand and implement changes on the platform. Many of our changes & requests comes from our platform consumers so you need to understand how their requirements could be translated into technical solutions.
Who are you?
We think you have a couple of years of hands-on experiences with containerization like Kubernetes and Docker and that you have a solid knowledge of Linux. You have experience of automation and have experiences in creating and improving self-service and pipelines processes.
We Believe You Will Need some of the skills below:
* Experience and knowledge of Linux.
* Experience of Kubernetes.
Very nice to have:
* Scripting skills: Terraform, Ansible, Python, Powershell
* Knowledge of Rancher, Docker
* General understanding of DevOps
