We have an exciting career opportunity for the right candidate to join our Corporate IT team in Lund, Sweden working specifically with the Syncron product. Syncron is used to automate and support
global business process and is considered to be a strategic platform within Alfa Laval.
As the Syncron Platform Manager you will be the architect setting the overall standards and guidelines for the product. You will be heavily involved in implementations of new solutions aiming to
improve Alfa Laval's Processes.
In this position you will:
• Work closely with other Platform Managers, IS Project Managers, Application Managers, and Developers in providing the business with integrated system solutions that are designed to streamline
our supply chain and other processes.
• Act as the liaison between Alfa Laval and suppliers for solutions, support, and technical expertise
• Develop internal competencies within Corporate IT in relation to the development and support of Syncron
• Be intimately involved in strategic systems planning and enterprise architectural decisions
• Responsible for securing and supervising the development resources to staff approved projects for new and existing initiatives related to SOA based solutions.
Ideal skills & competencies:
• Master degree or similar preferably with focus on IT.
• Deep understanding and practical experience with Service Oriented Architecture, web services, and application integration principles.
• Experience from managing projects and/or resources developing and supporting similar solutions.
• Direct experience working with IBM® WebSphere® Process Server or similar.
• Good understanding of ERP systems and supply chain related processes for global companies.
