For work with our customer we are looking for a Symantec Enterprise Vault technician
Responsibilities:
Some of the work is to investigate and solve the problems that level 1 or 2 support can not solve. In addition to that, for the customers technical environment, evaluate change requests, propose solutions, implement and install changes. Besides that, it is included to document and hand over the changes that have been done for further administration. All of this should be done according to the customer's processes and long term goals.
Main tasks:
As a technician you will work with development, support, administration, installation and configuration of a very large archiving solution which is based on Symantec Enterprise Vault. Also mobile solutions might be a part of the work. You will also participate in projects to assist customers and our own developers with knowledge and information.
Competency Requirements:
Deep knowledge of:
• Symantec Enterprise Vault
• Microsoft Exchange 2003 or later
More than solid knowledge of:
• Outlook
• Active Directory
• Storage (SAN)
• Network (LAN & WAN)
• Hardware (servers)
Other Requirements:
• In this assignment documentation is a vital and prioritized part of the work. This means that the contractor should have good experience of documentation.
• The supplied contractors must have had several assignments within the technical area before.
• Be flexible
• Be able to work in team
• Be correct
• Be able to handle stress situations and aware of that sometimes it is a “high tempoâ€?.
Experience:
• Must have at least 3 years experience as a technician within the area.
