What we are looking for
As an Accounting Business Partner you will be part of the central Accounting & Treasury team in Sweden. Our team consists of 13 people and we are characterized by a positive mindset and a great team culture high performance individuals deliver as a team and have a great time while doing it!
Our department is responsible for all accounting topics, the overall group financial closing process as well as the related financial sub processes (for example annual reports according to K3 standard etc.) for the legal entities of Uniper Sweden. We function as the single point of contact to the external Service Center located in Regensburg, Germany. Our team is also responsible for financial & controlling tasks and all treasury & finance activities within Uniper Sweden.
In the role as our Accounting Business Partner you will be responsible for the accounting activities for two of our legal entities.
What will you be working with?
• IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards) group reporting, monthly and quarterly, for our companies (within the Uniper Group) where you will be responsible to coordinate the closings which means interface to various stakeholders and customers
• Annual reports for your areas of responsibility
• Support the business, accounting colleagues and colleagues within other finance functions with your accounting expertise
• Continuous improvements - standardize, optimize and digitalize our processes
• Optional participation in in business development projects in Sweden as well as group wide projects within Uniper Corporate Accounting.
The position is based in Malmö but limited traveling might occur.

Uniper is part of Sweden's critical infrastructure and our operations are covered by, among other things, rules related to protective security, export control and nuclear non-proliferation. We will therefore carry out security clearance of all positions and complement with register control for security classified positions, according to the Protection Security Act. Health and drug tests are performed if applicable.
Who we are seeking
You have a bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
5+ years of experience from similar accounting work in other departments/companies is required, if you additionally have experience from working in a large corporate environment this is considered as an advantage.
We work in an international environment and therefore it's a requirement that you are fluent in English and Swedish, written as well as spoken. You have good knowledge of SAP finance modules or from other major ERP-systems.
