2 Working days and hours
(1) Monday to Friday 9:00-17:00
(2) Lunch break is from 12:30 to 13:30

3 Start date
March 1, 2021

4 Main duties
(1) Answer and screen incoming calls at the Embassy switchboard and direct and/or refer them in a polite and gentle manner to the various Embassy sections.
(2) Provide general information to the public on various topics, for instance on Japan visa regulations and application procedures.
(3) Handle outgoing and incoming correspondence such as letters, parcels, etc.
(4) General clerical duties

5 Salary
The salary will be decided based on the candidate's qualifications and expertise.

6 Qualifications
(1) Excellent command of English and very good command of Swedish, and preferably Japanese
(2) Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
(3) Good communication and team-work skills

7 Application
Required application documents include:
(1) A brief resume or CV
(2) A letter (within A4 1 page) describing how the applicant is qualified for working at the Embassy
(3) A copy of passport identification page
(4) A copy of the working permit (for non-Swedish applicants)

The applicants who pass the first screening of the submitted documents will be called for an interview later at the Embassy of Japan in Sweden. The final result is expected to be communicated only to the candidate who passes the interview.
