Job Summary
As a wind turbine technician at Swire, you will primarily work with the service and maintenance of wind turbines. In your role, you will need to utilize your entire knowledge base in electricity, hydraulics, mechanics, and technology. You will often work in unique environments with breathtaking views where no two days are the same.
Requirements and Experience
To succeed at Swire, you are thorough and methodical. You are service-minded, enjoy problem-solving, and always put the customer first. You enjoy working in a team and have no problems working at heights. You prioritize a safe and secure work environment and are responsible. You have a technical mindset and see solutions instead of problems.
We prefer that you have knowledge of electricity, acquired through education or work experience. A driver's license (category B) is required, as well as proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written. Experience from the wind power industry is a plus but not a requirement - the right attitude and motivation are equally important! Personal qualities are highly valued.

Swire RE Sweden AB (formerly WPS Sweden AB, acquired by Swire Renewable Energy in 2023) was founded in 2014 and is now a well-established company offering operations and maintenance services to the wind power industry. We are a curious, flexible, and quality-conscious service company guided by professionalism, commitment, and added value. Our headquarters are in Piteå, with a branch in Östersund. We provide local expertise in a global industry. Our technicians are currently based throughout northern Sweden, which gives us great local knowledge and quick response times when our customers need us.
Today, we perform:
• Service and maintenance of wind turbines
• Troubleshooting and repairs
• Inspection and repair of rotor blades with rope access teams
• Inspection of rotor blades using drones
• Service and maintenance of elevators and lifting devices
• Installation of fire alarms, operational monitoring, etc.
