We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our new Biologics Protein Therapeutics Filling and Packaging facility based at the AZ Södertälje/Gärtuna Site in Sweden.
The role
The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for the purchasing, production planning, inventory management, and logistics functions at the Sweden Biologics Facility. They will drive the implementation and for delivery of performance in line with the agreed plan, customer needs and costs.
Accountabilities/Responsibilities
To work with the Site Management Team and Site Leadership Team (SLT) to develop strategic implementation plans with a 2-5 year horizon to support the Long Range Operating Plan (LROP). Maintains long-term site capacity plans as needed for financial and strategic planning, which meets expected demand as part of the overall end-to-end capacity plan which will be developed in collaboration with Operations Strategy
Establish and maintain a stable supply of all direct and indirect materials required to support the production operation. Drive utilization of inventory and order policies incorporating processes like KANBAN where appropriate
Accountable for strategic alignment and tactical transactions associated with materials and services used at the production site. This includes: incoming intra-company and externally-sourced direct materials.
The Supply Chain Manager is accountable for the sites warehousing and logistic functions. This includes management of multiple shift warehouse operation including receipt and control of incoming materials, supporting Manufacturing with materials and supplies, storage and control of finished goods, shipping of finished goods and samples.
Ensure site representation in S&OP process for assigned assets in a standardized manner in line with the Strategic Ops plan in order to manage demand and supply exceptions and escalate issues where necessary.
Minimum experience
Graduate calibre and a management qualification is desirable
Significant experience in all areas of Supply Chain including Procurement, Planning and Logistics.
Proven management and leadership experience promoting motivation and empowering others to accomplish individual, team and organizational objectives
Ability to lead cross functional working groups and teams; Demonstrated ability to set and manage priorities, resources, performance targets and project initiatives in a global and regional environment
Proven negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal leadership skills
Budgetary and resource management planning experience
Conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking
Preferred experience/requirements
Effective problem and conflict resolution skills and proven team focus
