The future banking industry is becoming increasingly more digital. Immense challenges lies ahead the main actors on the financial market today. A large portion of Swedbanks' work to meet this paradigm shift is being done within the BIO (Business Information Office) divisions. Our job is to facilitate business with IT, and we act as translators between the two.
The Swedbank Business Analyst Graduate Program is a program for newly graduates that are interested in pursuing a career as Business Analyst. The Graduate Program is held within Swedbank BIO Group Savings and Group Lending & Payments in Sweden and in the Baltic countries. The goal of this program is for Swedbank to face the future with the best suited talents that will sharpen our processes with new ideas and the right mindset.
For 12 months, you will be assigned to one main area within Payments, Lending, Insurance, Cards or Asset Management. Parallel to your assignment, you will be involved in program activities with other graduates that will give you deep knowledge, competence and prepares you to take on more senior assignments within your designated area. There are two distinct directions within this program; analysis of IT architecture from a business perspective, or from a regulatory perspective. Which area you will be assigned to depends on your individual skill-set and interest.
After 12 months, you can be selected to a permanent role or become eligible to pursue other options within the group, with the skills you have developed as a Business Analyst.
About you
The candidates we are looking for must meet these qualifications:
Graduated with a B.Sc or M.Sc. in Mathematics and/or Economics (an academic background within Financial engineering is preferred)
Maximum 1 year of professional experience after graduation
Analytical, social and cooperative skills
Strong academic merits
Fluent in English and in one of our home markets languages Swedish/Estonian/Lithuanian/Latvian
In other words, the profiles that will fit this program are newly graduates, with strong academic track records and acumen for technology and business. An academic background in financial engineering is a merit. This is an opportunity for the new generation of bankers to make a mark in a digital future and grow as professionals.
