hela Sverige The On-board Telematics unit in Gothenburg is looking for a Software (SW) Verification & Rig Engineer to our Telematics products.
The On-board Telematics organization is established to secure connected vehicles supporting the increasing demand for soft products. Connectivity is a key enabler for fleet management, uptime services and advanced vehicle services such as driver assistance and fuel reduction, targeting reduced costs, increased customer value as well as increased revenues. We have colleagues in Greensboro-USA, Ageo-Japan, Bangalore-India and Lyon-France. The total staffs are 80 people whereof 60 are located in Göteborg.
Profile:
We now need to strengthen our verification team with an experienced SW Verification Engineer with test rig competence. We want a creative person who loves to work hands-on with test rigs and lab environment and also enjoys working with test and verification. It will be your responsibility to keep the test rigs and other lab environment up-to-date and functional. You will support both the verification team and the development teams with usage, problem solving, and assembling of new rigs. You are expected to proactively propose improvements regarding the rigs, routines, and lab environment.
You will also work with function and regression test and verification of software for embedded real-time systems within the area of telematics. You will work in a team of testers with a test manager, but will independently design, perform and evaluate your test cases with some support from the test manager.

Required qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science / electrical engineering or corresponding experience
Burning interest in software test and verification
Well spoken and written English
Merits:
Multipel years of working experience of software verification
Experience of hands-on work with test rigs / lab environment
Knowledge of Windows and computer networks
Knowledge of embedded systems
Knowledge of communication protocols
Genuine interest in the automotive industry
