There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the development of our new products. Volvo Group Trucks Technology has an increased need of skilled engineers within the Global Technology Area Driver Electronics located in Gothenburg.
We are looking for new employees with passion to work and develop sustainable transport solutions with pioneering products and services for the transport and infrastructure industries.
Position Description:
We are now looking for an exceptional SW verification engineers in the Infotainment or climate area. You will work in an x-functional team, agile team that is responsible for the cluster or climate SW. To deliver world class products in this area we are constantly challenged to provide the best solutions in terms of feature, quality and cost. You will be working with core technologies which will give you the opportunity to make a major impact in the way Volvo develop and test its products.
Main Responsibilities:
• To test and verify embedded SW and HW on a component level.
• Take part of pre-studies, analyze requirements and technical description.
• Develop and automate test cases.
• Develop and maintain the test suites in an continuous integration environment
• Participate and support advanced engineering projects related to the instrument cluster or climate area

Qualifications:
We are looking for someone with a few years of experience in verification and preferably also SW development. The exact role and tasks depends a bit on your qualifications but will include test case writing and automation. It might also include responsibility of our test environment (CANoe, CAPL, C# .Net), rest bus simulation (CAPL, C# .Net) and tool development (C# .Net, Python). It might also be a more senior role where you support the verification team with "best practice" and guidelines. It is important that you are a team player and like to interact with others to create a product with excellent quality and performance, but also to create a good working environment. It is an advantage if you are used to working in an agile environment. Tools that we are using: Vector CANoe, JIRA, Froglogic Squish, Git/SVN, SE Tool.
