Are you our new SW Test Engineer for a junior role or are you the more experienced person for a senior position? Our SW Test team is growing and we are looking for new employees, both junior and more experienced.
Department
The product development within Kongsberg Automotive is subject to global competition, with high demands on our performance. Our objective is to be in the global frontline of our product ranges where electronics is having an increasing impact on our designs. Working towards global customers and suppliers means a great portion of international contacts.
Role description
As a SW Test Engineer, you plan, design and perform tests on the SW design as well as you are responsible for assuring that SW requirements are tested and verified. Your main purpose is to build test knowledge to insure that we stay competitive and in accordance to our process and project expectations. You will work close with the SW and System Design Engineers in handling and reviewing requirements and from that set appropriate project test strategies.
Candidate Profile
For the junior role, we believe that you have a Master or Bachelor degree in computer science or similar. You have knowledge within embedded programming.
If you are more senior (+5 years in automotive), you probably have more safety related experience, which make you familiar with ISO26262. You might also have hands on experience in requirement tools such as DOORS and/or Polarion, Diagnostics, CAN, LIN, vTest Studio and HSI/HIL testing. Automotive experience is required as well as fluent in English, both verbal and written.
