This person will be involved in the development as well as in the subsequent industrialization of new products as well in maintenance of current existing products. This is a field where you can make an impact on upcoming products and techniques within Husqvarna's accessories range. I am looking for someone who is eager to take on this role as well as taking the lead in projects, with stakeholders and of course within development." As a SW/System Engineer, you will be part of Husqvarna Global Pro department and at group level Accessories R&D with the main customer group "Tree Professionals". They are five driven group members who enjoy working with the latest technology for developing new innovative high-end products that improve our end-user's workday. As a team, they provide an inclusive environment that allows everybody to grow as an individual.
At the department "Product Design Accessories", the team develop different kinds of accessory equipment intended for Husqvarna products, as for example personal protective equipment like safety helmets and hearing protectors, communication equipment, forest tools, robotic accessories, among many others.
This position is within the field of "Smart Accessories" towards the Husqvarna Forest and Garden segment. You will be involved You will perform many of your tasks in close co-operation internally with "Advanced Design" as well in many cases external partners.
Your day-to-day work will include initiating and establishing technical specifications, develop and defining SW architecture for new products, and contributing to HW architecture concepts. You will also be responsible for conducting technical investigations and research for solutions, as well as engaging in technical discussions and coordination with both internal stakeholders within Husqvarna Group and external partners.
In addition, you will be responsible for low level programming, primarily for prototypes and concept evaluation, and for the implementation of SW updates and maintenance. You will perform basic practical testing of products and evaluate and analyze test results to ensure that products meet our high standards of quality.
We think that you who are a match for this position has a Bachelor or Master in SW Engineering and experience within Embedded System Engineering. It is a request from us that you speak and write fluent English and Swedish.
What we think would be a great bonus is if you have experience within C/Assembler and Hardware programming as well experience with communication protocols - especially Bluetooth. Since you would be working with product development, this is also something that you have been doing before.
