We currently have the following job opening;
SW Solution Architect
CEVT is looking for a Software Solution Architect for one of our Infotainment ECUs. In this role you will be responsible for defining a proposed core SW structure to ensure modularity/ reusability and smooth control of the development of each major part of the system. You will also support making core decisions from the very early stages of the creation of system requirements for developing an embedded ECU's SW. You will be a part of CEVT's Infotainment & Driver Information Module Team and report to our module team director. You will be working in close cooperation with business as well as function & system responsible and component owners. You will work in a global organization, with regular contact with Asia, mainly China.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Analyze core system ideas and support decision making by giving facts of how the ideas can be realized.
• Describe core system structure that are used as input to ensure modularity/ reusability (how the software needs to divided and structured).
• Support the creation of the system requirement specification to guide how the software needs to be structured.
• Support the decisions of changes/ deviations by providing guidance of the impact of the changes that have effect on core features.
• Support in setting up work processes and organizational structures for increasing SW development capabilities.
• Work together with system-, and function owners for our different infotainment system areas to set input requirements to the SW.
• Support component team with setting boundary requirements on SW implementations towards suppliers.
Requirements
We are looking for you who want to be part of and contribute to our team and together build up and deliver connectivity solutions. To be successful in our team, it is important that you are positive, take initiative, bring up new ideas to solve complex problems, have a flexible approach to changes and development and work well with other people. You have a big interest and curiosity in other cultures and diversity.
• M.Sc. Computer Science or similar.
• Vast experience of SW solution architecture engineering.
• Solid experience of requirements analyzes & SW design.
• Experience of automotive industry.
• Experience of embedded SW engineering.
• Experience of in-vehicle-infotainment system development is an advantage.
Additional information
• Each individual in our team has a high level of initiative, drive, responsibility & also mandate, and is expected to work autonomously.
• Travels to China will be needed (approx. 3-5 per year).
