Who are we
The Electric Drive Controls SW at Volvo Cars is part of Propulsion Controls and Calibration. We are responsible for delivering system solution and SW functionality for the Inverters in our electrified vehicles. Our vision is to deliver the best functionality in the market and continuously evolve our development platform.
You will be part of the Electric Drive Complete SW team. The agile team consist of 10 enthusiastic people with a mix of gender, ages and nationalities. High focus on collaboration and communication within the group and it is good cohesion between the group members. New members always get warm welcome, support and acceptance.
Who are you
You are social open, work actively to increase work network and be a team player but also comfortable to work with individual topics.
You should an education within SW engineering, Mechatronic or have an equivalent competence.
You need to master oral, written, visual communication and presentation in English.
As Volvo develop cars, a Driver license B or European equivalent is a must.
It is meritorious if you have a relevant job experience relative to SW development or have the interest to learn a new area.
What you will do
In the role of Software responsible you will be responsible for the coordinating the SW development for the inverter control module in future and ongoing vehicle programs and work together with your colleagues in the Team. You will work together with our Inhouse SW development and be Single point of contact towards our international suppliers. You will analyse and assign tasks to the backlog and report status and progress to the Product Owner. You will be responsible for deploying the SW to factory and aftermarket. It is meritorious if you have worked with DTECS before.
