The Industry
The sewing machine industry is a global industry that is experiencing renewed growth. In developed markets, growth rates are projected to outpace GDP growth, according to Global Industry Analysts, Inc., the leading industry data source. Growth in these markets is driven by the Millennial generation that is increasingly attracted to personalization, crafts and self-expression (e.g., cosplay). In developing markets, the industry is expected to grow at 6.7% annually, fueled by the emerging middle class and the "need to sew" segment that uses sewing machines to support the household.

Responsibilities
• Strict adherence to the PDP and PEP processes, completing Phase Exit gates, and deliver qualified products meeting NPI deliverables.
• Primary responsibility to Create, Drive, Manage and Mitigate project schedule, communicating its status and highlight gaps to the plan.
• Primary team interface working with internal design team, internal support groups, operations team, OEMs and marketing.
• Set, manage, and communicate expectations to the project team, management, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and manage project resource constraints, dependencies, and critical paths to accomplish the program goals; resolve issues.
• Manage material supply to ensure build configuration and schedule will support required NPI deliverables.
ProfilYou have an BS in an engineering or computer science discipline and at least 5 years of relevant experience in project management. You have prior experience in NPI and Product Lifecycle Management processes, and managing cross-functional teams, interacting with a broad range of functions, skills, cultures and personalities. If you have an PMP-certification or similar, that is a strong advantage, Experience in leading SW development teams in agile methodology is highly valued, aswell as good knowledge in project economics.
