The Industry
The sewing machine industry is a global industry that is experiencing renewed growth. In developed markets, growth rates are projected to outpace GDP growth, according to Global Industry Analysts, Inc., the leading industry data source. Growth in these markets is driven by the Millennial generation that is increasingly attracted to personalization, crafts and self-expression (e.g., cosplay). In developing markets, the industry is expected to grow at 6.7% annually, fueled by the emerging middle class and the "need to sew" segment that uses sewing machines to support the household.
The Future

• Technical background with hands-on experience in software development and app development experience.
• Minimum 3 years of Project/Program Management experience an leading Agile methodology based projects.
• Demonstrated ability working in a product development team.
• Exposure to both classic waterfall and agile project management experience and the ability to leverage the two disciplines as appropriate.
Education and Certifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (preferred), or related field.
Knowledge and Skills:
• Scrum Master Certification preferred.
Manage Projects:
• Initiate, plan, execute, and monitor all activities for software-focused projects
• Use appropriate verification techniques to manage changes in project scope, schedule, and cost.
• Efficiently manage multiple software and connectivity projects utilizing Agile methodology.
Resolve Constraints:
• Develop mitigation plans for all at risk items and work with project team members while still maintaining project requirements.
• Maintains detailed action list with responsibility and due dates clearly defined.
Managerial Capabilities/Style:
• Works well in a cross-functionally collaborative environment.
• Solid decision-making skills and ability to work in a nimble environment.
• Prior experience managing international teams.
