The Climate Analysis & Verification department has a global responsibility for testing and analysis of interior climate within Volvo Cars. We act as a competence centre and deal with all aspects of interior climate such as heating and ventilation, the air conditioning loop, Air Quality and defrosting capacity.
Climate comfort is tested in rigs (HILs, climate chambers and wind tunnels) and on the road at a large variety of places, for instance around Gothenburg, in the north of Sweden, in Spain and in the US. Today, we face new challenges in terms of achieving good interior climate with improved energy efficiency and we are strongly affected and involved in new types of power trains. The organisation at Climate ART (Agile Release Train) is responsible for the entire Climate system; including SW and HW development.
What you will do
You will be a developer in the SW Cabin Climate team which consists of 10-12 team members. Some of your main responsibility areas are:
* Cabin Climate SW development and testing
* Unit testing of mechatronic systems within ECUs, FOH systems, Air Quality and more
* Ensure alignment and traceability between system and software requirements
* Leading Machine Learning & AI investigations within the ART
* Write user cases for the Climate functions
* Continuous work with testing codes and procedures
You and your skills
We believe you have degree in engineering within Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent and have 2-5 years of experience from Climate system in vehicles.
You have strong background and experience from work with SW and Electronics development, as well as experience of working in requirement management tools such as System Weaver and Elektra.
You are experienced from work with vehicle networks and development/diagnosis tools for vehicle software's. ML & AI working experiences are beneficial.
We appreciate working experience from SAFe and Agile environment and it would be even more beneficial if you have experience with leading teams in SAFe.
It is a merit to have 2-5 years of experience within HIL development. However it is important to have good written and oral skills in Swedish and English and you possess driving license "B".

You have the ability to prioritize between different tasks and most of all you are flexible. You like to work independent as well as in teams and you have a great ability to manage tasks with greatest sense of responsibility. Your strong analytical skills and clear communication with presentation skills will help you to excel in this position.
