SW Developer, Security Electronics

The section Security and Body Electronics within Vehicle Software & Electronics department has responsibilities that stretches from early phases until launching new cars. Our main role is to develop functionality for customers.
The section consists of four groups; two engineering design groups, one SW-development group, and one Verification group, and has approximately 65 employees. We handle project management, analysis, verification, hardware and software. The technical responsibility covers many of the security systems in the vehicle, such as Access, Locking & Alarm, but also a number of electronic control units, for instance the centrally positioned Central Electronic Module (CEM) and Vehicle Computational Unit. One part of the section is also a group with the responsibility of in-house developed software to Central Electronic Module and Vehicle Computational Unit.
We are now looking for a Software Developer to strengthen our Usage Authorisation, Alarm and Access teams. You will work with new and existing functionality in current and upcoming car projects. We have new developments ongoing in the IT security area, as well as next generation smart access systems. Focus is to develop new customer features such as the ability to use your mobile phone to access and start your car. Another focus area for the future is to enable car sharing in the best way possible.

The work as Software Developer means that you establish and develop relationships with System Designers for several functional areas, as well as building an understanding of the system design within those areas. In this position, you will therefore build and maintain a wide personal network within Vehicle Software & Electronics and Powertrain. You will work closely to the internal SW Project Leader, SW Integration, SW Testing as well as your team members.
Main responsibilities
* Develop software components and applications in MATLAB/Simulink
* Review software requirements specification
* Design and develop unit test specifications and perform unit testing
* Responsible for issue and change management on developed models
* Secure that models are ready in time, updated and released
* Discuss technical solutions with supplier and the internal team
Required qualifications
* B.Sc. in Electronics or Mechatronics engineering or equivalent
* Experience from system engineering or safety related components/systems
* Automotive experience from software and/or hardware development
* At least five years of model based development in MATLAB/SIMULINK
* Fluent in English, written and spoken
* Driving license "B"
Meritorious knowledge and qualifications
* Knowledge in AUTOSAR
* Knowledge in Automotive Functional Safety Standard ISO26262
* Programming skills in C, C++ and python

Your responsibilities will demand of you to possess good communicational skills, be structured and have also good documentation skills. You should be a team player in order to be able to collaborate with colleagues and at the same time collaborate with different stakeholders.
