Our Consumer & Enterprise Digital unit within Volvo Cars is leading this journey and is rapidly growing in terms of product, projects and people. Now we would like to strengthen our unit with a SW development engineer to join us in the product area Digital Work-Life Cluster.

What will you do?

Our cluster has an end-to-end responsibility for new development, maintenance, continuous improvements and innovations for the Digital Work-Life domain. We are now looking for a Senior Engineer to join our "Attract & Recruitment" team within Digital Work-Life. The team is in a start-up phase and works in a "DevOps" environment.

Your day will consist of SuccessFactors configuration, preparing configuration documentation and other documents required for delivery. You need to ensure that planned system changes are aligned with other relevant solutions/projects, preparing and delivering user/admin training and knowledge transfer to support the team when required. In short, you will be the expert in all technical matters related to SuccessFactors, which the main people tool in the areas connected to employees, recruitments, payroll within HR domain.

You and your skills

We expect that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in fields like Business, Engineering or Technology, together with experience from working within the HR and IT domain. SuccessFactors certification in is mandatory to take on this role. Due to our constant contact with our business stakeholders, we believe that our new colleague should have excellent business communication skills and communicate fluently in English. You have previous experience from working agile, using scrum or equivalent, working in DevOps environments and have the ability to work both independently and together with the team. It is meritorious to have prior knowledge of Volvo Cars systems and processes in general.

On a personal level you are curious, full of new ideas and have a courage to pursuit and implement your ideas. With your business acumen and strong communication you have the ability to present and communicate with people who have different level of IT knowledge. You always find a way to make people understand and never give up when facing challenges, instead you are open for new perspectives and finding different ways and solutions.
You are self-driven individual who is motivated with new technology and future development. Besides being a good team player, you can also work independently and drive your own ideas until they are mature for discussion and further implementation.
