The WCDMA Access Software (WAS) Group is a team of 25 dedicated engineers in Lund in Sweden, Nuremberg in Germany and Bangalore in India. In the WAS group we handle the layer 2 user plane protocols and layer 3 RRC protocol for WCDMA. As a software developer you will take part in all development steps, including analysis, design, coding, test and maintenance.
We work in a global environment in close co-operation with other departments, sometimes at other sites. Our development environment is Windows based, however the target is an embedded system. The programming languages are C, C++ and Rational Rose RT.

Requested competence
Master of Science in Computer Science, Electronics or equivalent
Specialist knowledge within C/C++ programming
Embedded software and communication protocol development experience (3GPP and TCP/IP knowledge is meriting)
Strong problem-solving analysis skills and very quality-conscious
Ability to work independently and in teams
Communication skills in English, both verbal and in writing
