CEVT covers all aspects of passenger car development – from the total architecture, to powertrain and drive line components, to top hat engineering as well as the vehicles’ exterior design. SW Design Engineer for EPS components
Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS) at CEVT is responsible for development of Hybrid and Electric Propulsion Systems (EPS). The area includes components such as On Board Charger, Wireless Charger, HV Batteries, electric motor, inverters or the complete system design. As SW Design Engineer for EPS components you will be the technical interface for one or several of these components.
Responsibilities and tasks
• Responsible for software related specifications including working with CAN, signal databases, AutoSAR, Simulink, setting requirements etc.
• Responsible for reviews of software specifications and solutions towards our suppliers.
• Responsible for Base Tech SW implementation is made according to requirements.
• Reporting status to the affected system and function developers.
• View test results of the software in the component and complete system.
• Responsible for release of documents.
• Participate in System FMEA.
• Participate and report information from forums related to software.
• Support and participate in SW delivery reviews, joint reviews and SW issue handling.
• Develop functional implementation plan for the node.
• Schedule SW releases to agreed delivery dates.
• Balancing characteristics and requirements to maximize performance/cost.
Requirements
• Master of Science Engineering degree at D, E, F, M or equivalent.
• Structured with an ability to drive, motivate and present ideas.
• Good presentation and communication skills.
• Problem solving mindset.
• Fluent in English.
• Team player with flexible approach and a holistic view.
Other Requirements
• Well accustomed to Chinese culture is an advantage.
• Knowledge and experience of transmission, hybrid systems, engine hardware or software development is an advantage.
• Automotive development experience is an advantage.
• In favor of environmentally friendly technologies.
The positions are placed In Gothenburg, Lindholmen.
