InfiMotion Technology develops, manufactures, and sells high performance electric drive units for fully electric vehicles, addressing the whole value chain, including production software and single components.
InfiMotion was founded in 2021 in Wuxi, China, and lead investors are companies such as Geely Auto, Lotus and Ningbo Luma, with a professional board of directors with experienced powertrain and automotive executives from well-known Geely Holding companies.
By the end of 2022, InfiMotion aims to have 700 experienced employees across two R&D Centers in Gothenburg Sweden and in Wuxi China. The InfiMotion team has been responsible for over two million sold units to date, by which over 90 000 were delivered to the European market. The first batch of new high-performance products will go into production in late 2022.
The Role
SW Application Engineer should act as product owner in electric drive SW team. Working as link between SW team and project leaders and suppliers. Defining and leading AR projects in line with electric drive SW roadmap. Being able to take role of SW developer within team by defining requirement designing and implement SW units and tests.
Responsibilities/Tasks
As SW Application Engineer you will work with SW application development for power electronics and electric machine control in automotive. You will be technical lead/product owner for agile embedded and application SW, be responsibility of defining task for SW team to develop both industrialisation and concept SW as well as analyse technical concepts and Customers System Design requirements.
You will also be responsible for:
• Preparation of Software requirements and specification.
• Communicate with customers on how to meet requirements
• Support for software architecture and architecture analysis.
• SW test planning and development of test cases.
• Development of unit design and methodologies.
If you have experience within system safety, tasks will be expanded to also include management of Cyber Security requirements.
Requirements to succeed in this role
We think that you have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar, and/or around 3-4 years of experience of SW development within Automotive. We see that you have experience from component development where you have built from scratch, worked with vector stack, as well as defence requirements and testing.
We also expect you to have experience in the following areas:
• C and/or C++
• Matlab/Simulink
• Autosar
• ASPICE
