The International School of Älmhult has grown rapidly since it opened in 2000 and has currently over 380 students. It is situated in Älmhult in southern Sweden and it is a public school with support from Ikea of Sweden.

The successful applicant will:
• have a pedagogical qualification,
• be an excellent, flexible and effective communicator in all forms of Swedish and English: written and spoken,
• be able to respond positively to change,
• be able to collaborate effectively,
• work positively and effectively with staff and parents,
• Teacher certification
• Understanding of the Swedish school system
