hela Sverige We're seeking an experienced engineer who's passionate about sustainability and understands the challenges behind sustainable supply chains.
In the role as Sustainable Supply Chain Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of companies to assess and enhance the sustainability of their key suppliers, focusing on environmental practices, human rights, labour rights, and governance, all while adopting a risk management approach. You will coordinate the implementation of our customer's sustainability goals and requirements such as traceability, inclusion, human rights, and responsible business practices.
What we are looking for
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, civil engineering, industrial engineering, or manufacturing systems engineering.
• Knowledge of concepts like critical materials, conflict minerals, recoverability rate, and raw materials demand growth rate, and how those influences product development processes, product quality, sourcing costs, and supply chain resilience.
• Understanding of international and industry specific standards for sourcing responsible flows, emphasizing human and labour rights.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written), with Swedish language skills considered a merit for working with local suppliers.
• Proficiency in evaluating carbon footprint and other environmental impacts of the supply chain is a preferred skill.
• A team-oriented approach with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Meritorious with expertise in green purchasing, social procurement, or reverse logistics.
