Our new Sustainable Supplier Coordinator shall contribute to ensure Bufab is recognized as a well-organized global player acting professional and with high requirements on sustainability, efficiency and predictability, providing a sustainable program for World 's Best Supplier Base.
The Sustainable Supplier Coordinator is a key position to reach Sustainable Leadership. The role is responsible to develop and integrate sustainability in our best practice, World 's Best Supplier Base, for our internal sourcing team and for our partners.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a sustainability program for sourcing and for the supplier base. Including new KPI 's how to measure the progress of our decided Sustainable Development Goals.
- Secure training material for the sourcing team as well as for the suppliers.
- Guidance how to set science-based targets aligned with limit global warming to 1.5°C for the supplier base covering Scope 1,2 and 3.
- LCA calculation on overall category level.
- Prepare categories for EU taxonomy for sustainable activities incl correct Taric codes on categories and subcategories.
- Coordinate sustainability activities cross-BU with Category Managers, Lead buyers.
- Reach approval of the guidance from Global Sourcing Circle and BBP board and implement sustainable sourcing strategies/actions.
- Be the expert in sourcing and advice and perform training on sustainability in the group.
- Take full responsibility for a high level of planning and deviation management including analysis and management of agreed actions and reporting connected to the area.
Who you are:
- Post grade education in sustainability
- 5 year experience working with global sustainability and risk assessment in international companies
- Knowledge of GRI G5, ISO 26000, ISO45000, EcoVadis, Sedex
- Competence in material compliance regulations REACH, RoHS, Full Material Declarations, Conflict minerals etc.
- Audit experience
- Project management and change management skills
- Knowledge of LCA calculation
- Fluent in English
- Capable of travelling 20 - 40 days per year
