What will you do?
We are looking for someone who can make sure we reach our set targets when it comes to sustainability. As our Sustainability Specialist you will get to challenge us on how to stay a forerunner in the field of sustainability. It is your responsibility to ensure our processes are working well and come up with strategic initiatives that are evaluated and prioritized according to impact, cost/benefit and visibility. It is an exciting role where you can initiate improvement and really have an impact on the future.
Some of your key responsibilities:
• Suggest, initiate and drive projects to improve operations and reach set targets.
• Continuously develop and improve the ISO14001 Sustainability Management System and its integration in daily operation and Stena AB "SuStenability" system.
• Prepare and participate during Management Review of the Sustainability management system.
• Perform internal audits and evaluate result from both internal/external audits and ensure corrective action is taken when needed.
• With Environmental Manager set yearly KPI's and targets per focus area.
• Follow up yearly KPI's against targets with Business regions and functions. Analyze cause of deviations from target and present to management. Suggest corrective action.
• Benchmark relevant data against similar companies.
• Ensure correct reporting of progress is reported to all Stena Line GM and BOD meetings.
• Suggest improvements to Stena Line's policies and guidelines when needed.
• Maintain accuracy of Stena Line intranet and external web as well as Sustainability Review.
• Keep up to date on what new initiatives and trends are developing in relevant areas of Sustainability and the work with UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Who are you?

For this position you need to be analytical and detail-oriented, but still have the ability to see the bigger picture. Since sustainability is such a wide area you might feel like a drop in the ocean, so it 's important that you can prioritize. We are looking for someone who is stubborn and have an enthusiastic personality. You stay true to who you are - you play to your strengths and bring your individuality.
The must-have's:
• Relevant bachelor or Master's degree
• 5 to 10 years of experience in working with sustainability related matters within shipping, ports, hotel and restaurant or equivalent
• Experience from working with ISO system
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
