Sustainability Specialist
To our Sustainable Sourcing team within Forest & Garden we are looking for a Sustainability Specialist that wants to join us on our journey to drive sustainability transformation in the industry. Joining our team means stepping into a high-profile role that can really make a difference, not only for our company but also for many people, our customers and planet. You will collaborate with an international team, engaging with stakeholders and value chain worldwide and be driving and developing our sustainable initiatives within the sourcing areas. Aligning with Husqvarnas 2025 Sustainovate goals you 'll be part of us inspiring our surroundings to make more sustainable choices. For carbon, circular and people as a core value for our supply chain.
Areas of responsibilities (among others):
Ensuring a sustainable supply base together with Sourcing.
Defining, executing and monitoring KPIs.
Conducting risk assessments and due diligence.
Mapping and implementing sustainable sourcing and cross-functional processes.
Participate in and actively contribute to group-level ESG-projects including defining and driving gap-closing measures for both qualitative and quantitative disclosure requirements and ensuring the right structure for reporting and performance management.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to integrate sustainability considerations and circular solutions into business operations.
Collaborating with and inspiring the supply chain to improve sustainability and social responsibilities
Contributing to initiatives promoting climate change, circular economy, human rights, and working conditions.

About the team & department
This role is a part of the Sustainable Sourcing team within Forest and Garden. Sustainability is a core value for Sourcing and our supply chain. The team's mission is to incorporate a sustainable perspective wider into sourcing operations, allowing Husqvarna Group to play a more substantial role in sustainability. Here you will be able to push your own professional skills, develop yourself, your interests and ideas together with a dedicated ,curious and positive team. Joining us means becoming a part of an exciting journey, shaping the way we address sustainability within Sourcing!
The team consists of dedicated international professionals and are guided by the principles of Strategic, Collaborative, and Professional. The team operates on an international scale and reports directly to Sourcing leadership team.
About you
We are looking for someone with a university degree in a field relevant to the position (or equivalent experience from work) and a keen and passionate interest in sustainability. You have experience working with similar tasks for several years, not necessarily within Sourcing but preferably in a global company and have the ability to drive change and influence at the organizational level. You have a quick learning ability, strong analytical skills and the capacity to adapt quickly to new processes and routines. In addition, you have effective relationship-building skills that will enable success in both independent and team-based environments.

Your strategic mindset enables you to identify new opportunities and take initiative independently. You have creative analytical skills, are good at prioritizing and are eager to fulfill your own and the business goals.
