What you'll do
As a Sustainability Project Manager you will be a key team player in the Responsible Business team. You will work with our Climate Plan agenda and roadmap what will help us reach our 2030 targets, to have a Circular and Carbon Neutral Business.
You will:
* Drive the Climate Agenda and our Climate Roadmap supporting our 2030 targets, initially focusing on strengthening our customer offerings of sustainable products and services.
* Act as project manager for initiatives supporting the Climate Agenda through the whole project lifecycle covering: establishing goals and objectives, drive the project management (including oversee the implementation by coordinating stakeholders, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and with high quality results) and prepare communication/reporting
* Support the organization with advice on sustainability queries (focus on environmental), as part of sourcing processes, product development or other operational topics.
* Understand the global and national trends in sustainability, bringing ideas and opportunities and translating them into actionable plans
* Identify local legislation changes that will impact the way we do business in the future
* Drive sustainability communication activities internally and externally
* Represent Telenor Sweden in Telenor Group sustainability networks, working groups etc.
* Contribute to the Responsible Business team common work and projects
You will be part of the Responsible Business team, that consists of experts within Compliance, Privacy, Sustainability & Quality. Other colleagues in the team are responsible for social sustainability, supply chain, sustainability reporting and human rights. The team advise the company on subject issues and lead projects within their specific area. You will report to the Head of Responsible Business & Sustainability.
Who are you
To succeed in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to work independently and in a positive, "can do" attitude. You have the ability to work with details as well as seeing the bigger picture. You will have several internal stakeholders such as Product Owners, Marcom, Communication, Strategy etc. and therefore need to be able to work in a highly collaborative manner and with great project manager skills. You have previous experience as a project manager and expertise on sustainability. You are solution oriented, efficient, structured, dedicated and not afraid to take ownership of tasks and responsibilities.
To succeed in this role you shall have:
* A degree at Bachelor level (or higher) on business administration, management, sustainability/environmental science or equal
* Relevant work experience, (+5 years) from working as a project manager as well a with sustainability
* Written and verbal communication skills in Swedish and English
* A 'can-do ', 'make it happen' and cooperative mindset, with the ability to drive continues improvements.
