hela Sverige Scania is undergoing a transformation from being a leading supplier of trucks, buses, and engines to providing complete and sustainable transport solutions. Together with TRATON and our sister brands MAN, Volkswagen Truck & Bus, and International, we are working to shape the future of mobility with innovative and environmentally conscious solutions. Our values - customer first, respect, team spirit, responsibility, and elimination of waste - are at the heart of everything we do. Together, we are at the forefront of creating a sustainable future.
Role Summary
As a Product Property Manager for Product Sustainability, you will play a pivotal role in driving Scania's sustainability agenda. You will collaborate closely with the Sustainability Analysis team to integrate sustainability metrics into product development, setting strategic roadmaps and property targets. Your strategic vision and leadership will be crucial in shaping the future of sustainable transport solutions at Scania.
Job Responsibilities
• Strategically drive the property work for Product Sustainability across trucks, buses, and services.
• Set and define property targets in the product development flow.
• Support R&D to ensure property targets meet strategic ambitions.
• Represent Scania and interact with other brands within the TRATON group.
• Lead and coordinate Vehicle Property Managers with expertise in Life Cycle Climate Impact, Circularity, and Sound Emissions.
Who You Are
You are a senior professional with extensive experience in environmental sustainability, focusing on decarbonization and circularity. You possess a strategic view of the world and have a proven track record in leading change within a global organization, creating value, and setting benchmarks in environmental sustainability.
Your project management skills, analytical mindset, and expertise in change management are complemented by your operational capacity to shape, structure, and deliver on time and with quality.
As a strong team player and change-maker, you thrive in complexity and have the ability to find ways forward, delivering value to your stakeholders. You are an excellent communicator who inspires others to see things differently and to act, while also being a good listener who can understand and make sense of different perspectives and sometimes conflicting views. Your ability to engage with integrity and confidence with stakeholders of all kinds and at all levels is a testament to your strong stakeholder management skills.
You hold a relevant university degree, and it is meritorious if you have a broad knowledge of the products, customer offerings, and the business of TRATON and its associated brands. You are action-oriented and accountable, with the strategic vision and operational capacity to deliver high-quality results. Fluency in English both oral and written will be a requirement.
