We are now looking to expand our team with a Sustainability Manager capable of taking our approach to sustainability to the next level. Sustainability issues are currently being addressed by various functions in the organization, but we believe we could greatly improve our impact by consolidating responsibility for driving the sustainability agenda.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about sustainability issues and their application in a business context, and who is excited by a role with high visibility both internally and externally. In the role as Sustainability Manager at FPC, you will be responsible for developing and driving activities related to improving sustainability of both our operations and supply chain globally, as well as for managing sustainability-related communication both internally and externally.



Key responsibilities

• Function as FPC's representative on sustainability issues in external settings, specifically in investor relations and industry forums.
• Support management and other company spokespersons with relevant facts and messages related to sustainability.
• Co-ordinate our global Sustainability Forum across all functions and support the drivers of our sustainability targets.
• Contribute to raising the awareness and competences in sustainability within our own organization, through communication, training and coaching.
• Work with the Sustainability Framework in coordination with our management system, certified against ISO 14001.
• Ensure that FPC have the tools, routines and processes in place to effectively manage the environmental and social impacts of our operations as well as those of our suppliers' and partners'.

You will be reporting to VP Operations, and will be working closely with functions such as Investor Relations, Sales and Operations. At this point in time, the role will not have any direct reports.



Your background and profile

You have a university degree in sustainability/CSR, environmental science/engineering or equivalent, and extensive experience from sustainability work in an international environment. Preferably, you have advanced knowledge of the environmental and social issues related to our industry.

You are familiar with ISO 14001, and have audit experience.

You possess strong structural and analytical skills and are able to communicate effectively with both external stakeholders as well as your colleagues. The ability to build long-term trust with different stakeholders is critical.
