We are now looking for a dynamic and technically strong Sustainability Manager, LCA, to join the Stora Enso Packaging Solutions Sustainability team. The person we are looking for has passion and experience in data-driven sustainability analysis and will support our business units with information and insights regarding the sustainability performance of our products and services. Your location can be Stockholm, Helsinki or other European Packaging Solution site.
You will report to SVP Sustainability, Packaging Solutions and your main duties will include:
• Planning, execution and communication of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Carbon Footprint (CF) studies for internal and external customers
• Responding to enquiries and supplying product specific environmental data to external and internal customers, associations and other stakeholders
• Execution of other environmental product declaration or eco-label assessments to internal mill customers
• Follow-up of development in LCA, CF, Water Footprint (WF), Product Environmental Footprint (PEF) and eco-labelling methodology
• Supporting sourcing in collection and processing of relevant LCA data
• Working closely with LCA professionals of other Stora Enso Divisions

Qualifications
Are you the one? We expect you to have a Master of Science (MSc) or higher degree in environmental science, engineering or equivalent. Experience in scientific publications is an advantage. In order to succeed in this role, you should have several years of working experience in the area of life cycle assessment (methodology, models and tools). Complex data processing is one of your fundamental strengths. You are proficient at writing clear, comprehensible reports and communicate fluently in English. Your approach is business-driven and service-minded. Knowledge of the production of competing packaging materials and solutions as well as composability testing and certifications will be regarded as advantages. This position requires some travelling, mostly within Europe.
