The main responsibility of the Sustainability Manager within Commercial Operations is to monitor sustainability strategy and performance at Commercial Operations for the world. The Sustainability Manager will work with and support Regions and Business Units in order to achieve Sustainability targets Scope 1&2 in Commercial Operations activities. The CO Sustainability Manager will report to the Head of Scania Real Estate Services AB.
Your Challenge
In this role you'll be responsible for the Sustainability matters within the Commercial Operations organization while acting in accordance with our Scania Way framework. You will be working in close cooperation with the CO management team on a Central, Regional and Local level, and acting as the Quentic Master User for the entirety of Commercial Operations to support local users, detect deviations and act to resolve them. Some other responsibilities of the role include:
• Acting as the centre of sustainability solutions regarding operations, facilities, equipment, structures, legislations, regulations and guidelines in the Business Units
• Being as the main point of contact regarding Sustainability related performance, inquiries, deviations and developments within Commercial Operations
• Guiding and supporting Business Units during Market Plan preparation
• Promoting most optimal solutions in balance with Scania targets, local business capacity and financial guidelines
• Continuously educate and inform about Sustainability in Commercial Operations
• Participate and contribute in improvement activities based on a standardized working method
Your Profile
You're someone who fosters two-way communication and makes sure to communicate openly, honestly and respectfully with different audiences. You provide excellent service to both internal and external customers while holding yourself and others to high standards of accountability. We also see that you have:
• Relevant Education or equivalent work experience
• Sustainability knowledge and/or experience from a similar role
• Leadership experience
• Project Management experience
• Fluent in English
