Airmee is one Europe's fastest growing startups focusing on fast and convenient deliveries for e-commerce and other businesses. Our technology that optimizes our logistics fleet in real-time is based on our world-leading research at KTH allows us to do this more cost-efficiently and environmentally sustainably than anyone else.
Role overview
Airmee was founded on the vision to optimize logistics to create greener cities. The transportation sector accounts for a lion share of the global energy consumption and the last-mile delivery industry is in urgent need of a change. As a technological logistics platform powering environmentally sustainable delivery solutions, we aim to lead the green shift in logistics.
We're committed to this vision, not only because it's a win all around, but also because it's a necessity for our planet. We have committed to becoming a zero-emission logistics platform by 2025 and we signed The Climate Pledge committing to becoming carbon neutral at least 10 years before the Paris Agreement in 2050. These are very ambitious goals, and we need a sharp, highly organized, collaborative individual who is genuinely passionate about making an impact and driving change!
As Airmee's Sustainability manager, you will be responsible for driving the sustainability agenda at Aimee developing and implementing a sustainability strategy closely linked to our key business target of going beyond net-zero and target net-negative emissions by 2025.
You will work cross functionally and play a crucial part in integrating sustainability into all areas and functions, forming a cohesive view on how we can achieve our ambitions targets together.
So, what will you do?
• Define and drive the implementation of Airmee's sustainability strategy and roadmap to reach our targets
• Own and further develop our sustainability KPIs and measurement, including implementing science based targets together with our climate consultants as well as developing how we work with our partners to capture and manage data
• Be a passionate thought leader in the field representing Aimee at sustainability related events as well as in customer meetings where sustainability is of importance
• Deliver on our yearly commitments such as the sustainability report, emission reports to customers, our green house report as well as developing our sustainability policy
• Be part of shaping and enforcing how we work with Corporate Social Responsibility together with our partners
• Work cross functionally, engaging with multiple stakeholder in Airmee, to drive sustainability related projects and establishing best practices
• Be the driver of positioning Airmee as the leaders in the field and support the development of sustainability as a differentiator and unique selling point for Airmee to grow our business and have a positive impact on our environment
What we're looking for?
• A passionate sustainability thought leader with the ambition to be able to deliver true impact for Airmee and for our environment
• A data driven strategist with an analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to manage and refine data provided from multiple sources into measurable targets and goals
• Highly strategical, creative and driven project leader with a demonstrated track record of managing complex projects cross multiple stakeholders with strong business acumen
• Proven experience from driving sustainability agendas in fast growing companies
• A self-starter who enjoys building things hands-on from bottom up and thrives in an entrepreneurial setting and faced paced environments
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Bachelor's degree or higher
This role will have an immediate impact on the ground, and on the future of Airmee's position in the market.
