As a Sustainability Coordinator at British American 's Tobacco, your primary role is to ensure environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance with Swedish regulations and company standards. As a Sustainability Coordinator, you are responsible for onboarding new joiners in EHS procedures and coordinate EHS trainings within the organization. You will coordinate risk assessments and support production with EHS rules & directives. The role also includes gathering EHS relevant data for reporting, documentation management and support in annual activities such as measurements, trainings, and audits.
The role is a consultant assignment at 100%, with starting date as soon as possible and will process during a period of six months with possibilities for permanent placement. The position is located at our factory in Malmö.
About you
To be successful in the role of Sustainability Coordinator, we expect you to be a outgoing and effective communicator as the role requires active engagement and collaboration across various organizational levels. Your ability to foster open communication will be integral to the success of our EHS initiatives.
Furthermore, you have minimum 2 years of relevant work experience within a production environment and a solid knowledge of how an industrial production company operates.
Key Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with employees at all levels.
• Fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English.
• Basic computer skills in MS Office.
• Knowledge of health and safety rules and legislation.
• Knowledge of environmental rules and legislation.
• Ability to identify, organize, and execute coaching and training related to EHS needs and requirements.
• Act as an EHS champion, promoting relevant aspects on-site.
