One of our talented employees retires and we need to replace him with a new surface treatment expert.
As our specialist you are responsible for planning, organizing and developing all the surface treatments activities to meet quality requirements, optimum productivity and customer satisfaction. You are also responsible for existing painting & plating production processes and conduct optimization studies to determine process capability for quality improvement and achieve cost reduction. In your role you recommend design or setting up of a new plating or painting system, manage project execution and process establishment when needed.
The surface treatment specialist is also deeply involved in quality control, testing and R&D-support, and questions concerning environmental & cleanliness.
The geographical area for the job responsibility is focused on Europe where Wipro has operations and supply base. At present plants are in Sweden (Östersund, Bispgården), Finland (Perniö) and Romania (Ramincu Valcea) and Technology Centre in Skellefteå Sweden.
Job location: At one of our operations located in Sweden, Finland or Romania.
Requirements
We are looking for a professional coworker with a BE / MSc Degree in Chemical Engineering or similar European qualification.
We believe that you have many years of relevant working experience in Plating, Painting or Surface treatment Industry.
Hopefully you have hands on experience and knowledge in plating (Hard Chrome plating, Nickel Chrome Plating Zinc phosphating), painting and applicable standards.
You possess strong technical wisdom, excellent interpersonal skills and effective analytical problem-solving skills, and you are a results-oriented person with excellent drive, initiative and the ability to work with team under tight schedules.
This is an individual contributor role hence need is to be effective proactive and self-starting; seizes opportunities and acts upon them with enthusiasm and commitment.
